Me and Laurel

The Cabin

JJ and Ry
I met Laurel back in the spring of 2005 through my friend Missy. At that time Missy was working at the Trocadero (a night club in Philly) as a booking Agent. Missy loves this band called Aloha and she needed to book them at the Trocadero. Laurel, who has her own booking agency called Silverleaf Booking, was responsible for booking Aloha's tours. That's how it started. Missy and Laurel became friends through their love of music.
Missy was hell-bent on hookin' me up with a nice little lady back then so she introduced me to Laurel by offering my services as a Web designer. Missy's very clever.
Back then Laurel lived in Mechanicsburg, PA with Brown Bunny (R.I.P.) so i didn't meet her face-to-face right off the bat. There was lots of communication through e-mail. It was all business at first but after time a spark of interest ignited an invitation to the "the cabin".
I was very interested in meeting this Laurel character but I couldn't meet her alone of course. Girls have cooties so it was necessary to recruit my two good buddies JJ and Ry. Missy also graced us with her presence during this journey to make sure things unfolded smoothly and according to her master plan.
After a nighttime two hour drive through the rain we arrived at the cabin and i finally meet my future wife Laurel.
We all had a great time at the cabin. I was instructed to fix a toilet pump, JJ experienced "Wet Foot" during our hike up Tumbling Run, Missy knitted a something and Ryan became Jim Morisson. It was good fun.
Two years later i took Laurel to the cabin and asked her to hike up the same trail we hiked when we first met. This time when we got to the top of the mountain i asked her to marry me.
Missy insisted in the weeks prior to the cabin trip that Laurel and I would "get married and have millions of babies." She was pretty set on getting us together. If anyone is in need of a matchmaker, we have Missy's number.
